Pause

Today was a day I got to witness a sweet twin moment. I was in the kitchen and O & S were in the living room with their bottles.

I heard some noise so I peeked in to see this.
If pictures had sound, you would hear talking.
And see Stella offering Oliver her lovey, Lulu the lamb.
This game went on with laughing and giggling from both.
If only there were pause buttons for moments like these.

Perfect Summer Weekend: Day 2

The sky was blue, not a cloud in sight.
Time to break out the sunhats.
And have a picnic at the lake.
First Stella got to test the waters of Lake Calhoun.
Then O.
But if you look closely above, I didn't realize I had completely dunked his feet......and shorts. So then there was some cheering up to be done since he wasn't so happy.
Stella had so much fun that she protested when we said it was time to go!

Perfect Summer Weekend: Day 1

We finally got the weather in Minneapolis that we have been waiting for (and deserve!). It was sunny, 80 degrees, no rain.....and we got a full weekend of it!

It had been WAY too long since we got the college gang together for a gathering. Saturday we fixed that and had an awesome time sitting outside, grilling, and catching up with friends.

With good friends like these, months or years can pass and it feels like nothing has changed. Well, except for a few things. It is no longer the guys reaching across the table for the last beer.
And there are a few more additions to the gang.......
Nevin Gunderson
Like father, like son.
Noah Gunderson
Isabelle Pavek
Jack Pavek
And no introductions needed for these two.
And while Krohnbergs don't have little ones of their own, we're pretty certain that Andrew will always be a big kid.
And Andrea has enough practice taking care of Andrew that she could handle one of her own.
And Uncle Rob......a natural.
Good times.

Good Day Sunshine

Hey friends.
Today was awesome. It didn't rain, it wasn't windy, and it wasn't cloudy. And the best part, the SUN was out. Raise your hand if you love the sun!
We demanded to go outside to play......but only if we could bring the crazy table.
It was fun until Oliver tried to dislocate my shoulder.
 It hurt so I cried.
Mom says that staying hydrated is super important in the summer so we took a few water breaks.
Then I had a little quiet time and caught up on my reading. I am so advanced that I can read books upside down.
Oliver was off thinking he was super cool because he got mom's sunglasses.
He doesn't even know how to put them on.
I thought I would help him out and show him but he got super mad.
Oh well. Got 'em!
I also had a little secret to tell Oliver.
It got really serious.

I sealed it with a kiss.
Hope you all enjoyed this sunny day as much as I did!
xoxo ~
