Tales from the "Twin" Cities: Dear O & S......

Dear Oliver:
Is it really possible that this was you just 6 months ago?

And now look at you!

We can't seem to keep you on your belly during tummy time. While your sister is sitting up, you would prefer to be rolling around.

You are still a laid back little boy and we're pretty sure that you are frightened by your wild sister.

You have fuzzy, wuzzy hair and big blue eyes that melt your mom's heart.

You are eating lots of different foods, including banana, avocado, pears, sweet potatoes, and peas. You & Stella like to sit around after eating and babble to each other.

At your 6 month check-up appointment, we found out that you are now 27 inches long and 18 pounds 7 ounces. This was you on the way home - you weren't very happy about the 4 shots they gave you!

Dear Stella:

We call you Ms. Curiosity because you are always interested in everything that is going on around you. We can see it in your eyes that you are taking everything in and you will be a tough one to fool.

You have grown so much that you are now in the 90th percentile for height and weight, with stats of 27 inches long and 18 pounds 3 ounces. You have almost caught up to your "big" brother - you and your legs sure have grown since your birth day!

You are a tough one to get good pictures of because you always seem to be moving and causing a blur on camera. That is probably why the jumperoo is your favorite activity.

You also love to chew on books. Lets hope when you are 16 you enjoying reading them just as much!

And then there is your favorite yellow lab Maizy. You just can't get enough of her.

You are eating solids now and your favorite seems to be fresh banana mashed with avocado. We call it banana-cado. You are even trying your hardest to learn how to drink from a sippy cup.
