This post is necessary, mainly for the purpose of baby book documentation. O & S are changing so fast that it seems like everyday there is something new!
Oliver has just recently (finally!) started army crawling, pulling himself up, and going from laying to sitting. He still prefers butt scooting and can cover some serious ground quickly using that method. In addition to babbling, he is saying "mama" (without knowing what it really means), "more", and "ball".
Stella has started taking a few steps between people on her own and just today, went from sitting to standing without pulling up or touching anything. We just happened to look over and she was just standing up on her own in the middle of the room! She is also saying "book" and "dog" and makes "weeeee" noises as we get close to the park swings. And her walking behind the wagon is now more of a run.
Evidently they don't get the nutrition they need from food because one of their favorite activities is heading down to our neighbor's house and picking up rocks from his retaining wall and trying to eat them. Teethers, maybe? On that note, in true twin fashion they continue to get their teeth at the same time with the second one coming in last week.
Stella has also started what we call the monkey crawl. Take a look for yourself. And looking out the front door never gets old these days.
