Birthday Weekend Day 3: The Baptism

Our crazy birthday weekend ended on Sunday with the perfect celebration - the twin's baptism. It was a beautiful, sunny morning and they were baptized at the same church that Chop & I were married at, Knox Presbyterian Church, in South Minneapolis.
We selected two readings that Chop & I each read during the ceremony.

2 Peter 1:5-9
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
The highlight for Stella was walking up and down the aisle. Oh, and sitting on the floor under the pew with her snack trap.
We were blessed to have both sets of grandparents here for the special occasion, along with aunts/uncles and cousins.
It was the perfect ending to the weekend and a wonderful reminder of just how blessed we are to have them!
