{ christmas: part 2 }

Nothing says Christmas morning like loading up the car and hitting the road! Which is exactly what we did. The weather wasn't ideal so it took us just over 3.5 hours to get to Plover. Oliver took advantage of the car time to catch up on some sleep. He told me when we arrived and he woke up "Mommy, I was just sleepy so I took a little snooze". His sister on the other hand, not so much.
We arrived at Auntie Sharon's house just in time to eat before gift openings. Oliver and Stella both warmed up quickly and were off playing with their cousins in no time. Oliver loved helping to hand out gifts, throw away wrapping paper, and was always in the middle of the party.
While Stella just tried "webbing" people with her light saber. She has Spiderman and Luke Skywalker a little confused :).
They both loved their exchange, gifts, a guitar for him and a tea set for her.
Santa arrived shortly after for his visit and unlike past years, both were eager and willing to sit on his lap.
The rest of the visit consisted of mainly just hanging out at Grandpa and Grandma Kruegers. And Stella supporting the local brewery in her borrowed Point Beer hat.
And once again, we're back in the car heading right now to the Lodge in Cumberland. This trip a certain someone decided to actually sleep.....but only after hiding herself.
